Cloud

Cloud, 2011-2012, (approx. 36” X 60” X 48”), shredded clothing, casing, acrylic medium and wire
Clothing that belonged to my late brother and father was shredded and fed through many meters of sausage casing to create a large mass that was suspended from the ceiling, hovering just over the ground. The wormy mass appears both intestinal and cloud-like, alluding to the experience of loss as both a weight and an emptiness.
